    Our Wildland Fire Equipment

    2014 D6N LGP

    This dozer is a 2014 Caterpillar D6N Low Ground Pressure, unit number FD2-01, weighing in at about 42000 LBS. Equipped with Sweeps, Screens, Motorola radio, Fire Curtains, and Hand Tools, and more. This makes it a very capable unit and is classified by the US Forrest Service and Cal Fire as a type 2 Fire Dozer.

      Vehicle Upfitting

      2016 Cat 316 EL

       

      This 2016 Cat 316 EL, unit FEX02-06, weighs approximately 40,000 lbs and is configured for wildland fire operations. It features a quick detach bucket and thumb, along with fire curtains, radio, and hand tools to support efficient fire line construction and suppression efforts.


      Classified by the U.S. Forest Service as a Type 2 Excavator, this unit is built for reliability, versatility, and performance in active fire environments.

      2004 Velmet EXL

       

      This 2004 Valmet 445 EXL is configured for wildland fire operations and equipped with a 22" rotating saw for dropping trees. It features a leveling cab for improved stability on steep terrain, along with fire curtains, radio, and hand tools for safe and efficient operation.

      Recognized as a Type 1 Feller Buncher by the U.S. Forest Service and CAL FIRE, this unit is built for high-production performance in demanding fire environments.

      2006 Tigercat 630C

       

      This 2006 Tigercat 630C is configured for wildland fire operations, equipped with a grapple, blade, and winch for effective line construction, material handling, and support in active fire zones. It includes fire curtains, radio, and hand tools to enhance operator safety and field capability.

      Built for durability and performance, this unit is a reliable asset for suppression support and fuel mitigation in demanding environments. This unit is classified by the US Forrest Service and Cal Fire as a Type 1 Skidder.

      2019 D3K2 LGP

      This 2019 D3K2 LGP, unit number FD3-03, is configured for wildland fire operations, equipped with a masticating head for fuel reduction, along with a winch and blade for line construction and support work. A root rake attachment is also available, adding versatility for clearing and rehabilitation tasks.


      It is outfitted with fire curtains, radio, and hand tools to support safe and effective operation in active fire environments, making it a dependable asset for suppression support and vegetation management.


      Due to its multiple configurations, this unit is classified as both a Type 3 Dozer and a Type 2 Strip Mulcher.

      2019 D3K2 LGP

       This 2019 D5K2 LGP, unit number FD3-02, is configured for wildland fire operations, equipped with sweeps and screens for added protection, along with a root rake for effective clearing. It is outfitted with fire curtains, radio, and hand tools to support safe and efficient operation in active fire environments.  This unit is classified by the US Forrest Service and Cal Fire as a type 3 dozer.

      2011 International 7400

       This 2011 International 7400, unit number WT2-08, is one of our numerous projects nearing completion. When finished it will be classified by the US Forrest Service as a Type 2 Support Tender and Cal Fire as a Type 1 Tender. Equipped with a 3000-gallon tank, 800 Gpm Main pump, 120 Gpm auxiliary pump, booster reel, and rear lockers.
